One month since New Misc shut down

Which means today marks a month since we all began to migrate over here to OB Misc.

How are you brahs feeling about the current state of affairs? Personally I don’t even miss new misc anymore. I do wish I could recover a few of my old threads and aware some posters who got left behind, but the user experience here is generally superior. There are a few minor things I’d tweak, but overall I’d say we’re better off today than a month ago.

It was ok until the mod let a troll use it as his playground to go after innocent users he decided he had a problem with. He’s why the emoji system should never be implemented here and if it is we need limits the faces to 3-5 a day only like Reps. Childish af mod.Jesus Christ.

The forum was greatly improved by the removal of a few very low-quality, prolific posters

Addition by subtraction.

IMO we could limit reds to 1 top-level post and 7 replies per week and the quality would improve even further.

Why would you want to recover some of your old threads? none of them were legendary and it was all shit complaining. I'd like to see more OG miscers

I agree like new members should be on a probationary period. can't make threads and need at least 500 posts before they make a thread and spamming as a new account results in an automatic ban. if an alt account is linked to a main account, both accounts pema banned. Reds can't make threads

Unfortunately this site isn’t indexed by Google. If you search “Obnoxious Brutes” you get shit about Elliot Rodger. That’s a flaw. However “obnoxious brutes misc” is a suggested term and if you click it there are several results from miscreformed, Reddit and FOH referencing this place.

A lost miscer would have to dig a little bit to find us currently.

I hated that forum, only cool thing about it was my cool dark purple username color. This place is like a Cursed Misc, I like it and it's good to have my OG account back and an actual rep system!

Reasons for hating the forum were Microdink as mod and Fagmin who was a fukking phaggot and we always knew it.

With randomly banning Johnny V and absolutely refusing to unban, even though it grievously wounded the Misc; while Toker was literally openly sporting "pedo crew" in his sig it seemed like there were no consistent enforcement of rules.

Banning fate randomly was stupid as fuk too, and scary.

It's fine. I think a rep system is a trash idea. But I understand that it's a remnant of the OG Misc, which I wasn't a part of.
