lets talk about this
Has anyone truly hated their life and come out of it without changing anything? You just accept the shit that is causing the hate and discontent and somehow be happy? Is that possible?
LMK thanks

Whats the problem?
In a third world country there's currently starving kids to death because they cannot get food. Imagine being born in India, crowded, dirty, lots of poor, bad healthcare, etc
Not say you have no room to complain, but you need to appreciate the little things you have because someone somwhere has it much worse. If you were born in this country you were blessed

I see what youre saying though..things could be worse. I sent my boss a structured email with every task I have this week and for feedback on anything that I need clarity on. I am just going to robot through my work and figure out a way to enjoy the rest of my life.

Every day of life of health without sickness, disease, struggling to breath etc is a good day. Ask people on their death beds at 40 dying of cancer if they would trade another few years of an office job they hate for their state and they would all take it in a heartbeat.

Working 5 days a week sucks. Hell I had to work today. But we all have to deal with it until we make changes.
If I were you I'd maximize retirement as much as possible. Look up r/fire. Eliminate all of your debt. Read about dividends and ETFs. Invest something into crypto. Smart investing is the only real way out of this rat cage.
Doesn't sound like you have kids, so you already have an advantage. If you could find a good spouse who's also willing to invest, that puts you even more further ahead.

Venezuelan’s were forced into prostitution in Colombia due to Maduro. They had no opportunities. You think they enjoyed getting railed by fat old men on the daily? Nope.
This is a giant suck it up buttercup thread. You have it way better than you realize. South Americans, starving Africans, etc. are wondering wtf are you complaining about.

The best answer is to adapt. Wageslaving sucks, it sucks even more when all you do is go home and rot the next day.

I have kids-
I don't think I will ever get married. I have work, kids, and school right now and I think I just need to take each day as it comes and get through it.
I took on a responsibility that is probably a lot more than I can handle. Its really rough. So I hate my job and then home isnt a reprieve.
I cucked myself. its ok. maybe therapy would help or something .

We all had rough times and the older I get, the more ghey I might get.. but really try to appreciate small things more. Can be anything really. Just being grateful for something may help.

Everyone on this forum.....
....Except for the be happy part
....Except for the be happy part
"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

You're not wrong to feel this way.
White-collar American work culture is pretty much optimized to make people as unhappy as possible
Most people hate their job - that's why you get paid money to do it. A lot of the people who act "happy" at work are faking it.

I have never hated my life. I have hated my current situation at one time or another. I grew up poor and it was very uncomfortable. I didn't understand why we were poor, honestly I still don't understand why we had to be poor.
All the things adults are supposed to learn to be successful, I did not learn, as I had no one to tech me that kind of stuff. My parents worked multiple jobs and they would go off to work before me and my brother woke up, and would be home late so I'd see them maybe an hour a day.
One day I decided I was tired of being broke, living in bad conditions, etc. So I made the necessary changes to fix my life. And that worked out beautifully. I'm 11 years in and I don't have to worry about bills anymore, or whether my card will be declined, or whether an accident or breakdown will leave me without a car. And honestly that makes life so much more enjoyable.

When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

Whenever I get into a funk like this, I fuck shit shit up on purpose.
I will quit jobs without notice and focus on cardio and lifting to get back into shape until my savings and credit run out, skip out on my lease and move someplace new, buy a bunch of stuff on credit then just dont pay it back, and then go from there.
By the time it all catches up to me, I will just bankrupt everything and tell all the sociopaths at the banks and property management companies to suck my big black cock, and I'm a white guy.
Then I will find a new job and start it all over.
