Most gyms give you a couple trainer sessions when you join. They can show you how to use the machines/lift. Start slow and low and work your way up in weights. The most important thing is consistency.

You have the internet at your fingertips. Study hard and give it time until you master the movements, work harder than you think you need to, and don't get suckered by a retarded commercial gym trainer having you do utter b.s.. Just go in and start, practice makes perfect. Study how the body moves and such.

Learn some basics on YouTube. I would suggest avoiding Instagay or TikThot for advice if you don't know anything lifting because there's too much BS on it. Every platform has nonsense but shortform content platforms are the worst for this because there's no room for nuance so content creators don't bother.

Just start training and refine your approach and technique as you continue to learn. Making mistakes and learning from them is big part of the process. You'll never get started if you try to study everything there is to know before setting foot in a gym.

Watch Dorian Yates videos

Not only explains the movements but explains the biomechanics of the body to ensure you understand why you are doing something a certain way. YouTube influencers and shitcunts like Mike Israetel or Jeff Nippard can go and get fucked.
