I do both. But I can easily sense the change online reading has bought upon people. For some reasons both feel generations apart.

I just got my library card working again
I like physical books better
If I had kids I would force them to read physical books and practice writing and all the old school methods they would have a massive advantage over their peers

Have you taken an iq test since then
I use my brain all day every day at work, zero concern about mental atrophy
I do read, for example I review every contract my company signs, our debt agreement is 160 pages long. I'm not an attorney but I'm the closest thing my company has. I just don't read for pleasure.

Haven't read a novel since I was 14, haven't read a text book since I was 20.
Who the fuck has the time to sit down for an hour or more and read books?
1. Watch the movie - it's gonna take way less of your life away and you get the same basic story
2. You could be training, eating, finding new ways to make money, boning, walking your dog, trying to bone, prepping food so you don't eat like Oliver...
