I embedded it for you, cheeky bugger.

Embedding works, but you need the direct link to the image, meaning a URL that ends in .jpg, .png, .gif, etc. On desktop, it’s usually enough to right-click the image and select "Copy Image Address" or similar depending on web browser. Unfortunately, the link Imgur provides by default is often not the direct image link.

I was actually having a hard time embedding the YouTube video, which usually doesn’t give me any problem. But it seems like you don’t have to do the embedding with YouTube anymore. The link is showing up embedded.

Like if I just post a straight link, I think it’s going to embed it:



I don’t even try with Imgur anymore. I just post the link. 😂

Correct. Just post the YouTube link and let the forum engine deal with the embedding. It's the same story for most other common Internet media (X, Instagram, etc.).
