Tourettes sydrome guy says that word in front of black people at awards cerimony

I actually have sort of a medium case of Tourette Syndrome that I take medication for. I feel for that guy but he shouldn't have been there in the ofrst place.

I dont have it quite so bad that I scream out raycis words, but the Republican in me still belives that my disease is my burden to bear, not everyone else.

The worst I've ever done is yell out 'fuking phaggot" in front of the prissy little queer I used to work with, and that was only because I hurt myself, which makes it harder to control. I apologized profusely to him.

I take an anti-psychotic called Orap that eliminates a good 90% of my tics, but I still will blurt out random thoughts and speak too loudly on occasion, especially if I am tired or in pain. It sucks being awkward like that, even though it's not all the time.

Huge fumble by the British Broadcasting Channel for not bleeping this and the other tics he had throughout the event, especially when it had a two hour delay.

Suggesting he not be invited to the event due to his condition is ableist brah, especially when the most sensible accommodations weren't even made in the first place.

Unfortunate situation, but the "experts" on social media trying to make it sound like Davidson is racist are making the worst of it
Have fun and be yourself :-)

It's not like being in a wheelchair. Its just as bad as if you smell really bad or keep vomiting or something really gross or offensive. You just dont show up at all if there is a chance you cant control it.

I’m not sure I can completely wrap my head around Tourette’s .
It doesn’t seem purely random so there’s something behind the words that are said.

Well I’m pretty sure if someone had disabilities like that- we wouldn’t be telling them to stay home from everything. If they are sick and it’s catchy -yes, if no- we make accommodations.
I guess some people might tell them to stay home- same people that think we should kill off old people when they’ve worn out their stay here 😂

I have only witnessed Tourette's in the form of body twitches, never in the form of somebody talking.

I knew this one guy years ago that couldn't stop bobbing/twitching his head.

I know someone with the same kind lol. First time I met them I got really irritated by it and rudely asked them why they kept shaking their head.

Of course that's what he said. Its the wors tpossible thing to say, so his brain makes him say it. Its an evil disease.

He didnt like already want to say that word anyway and all the "Thats the first thing he thought to say" people have no clue how the disease works.
