Never cared for them but srs, imagine going through what it went through. Getting grabbed/bit has to hurt but then the struggle for life only to lose. There has to be a moment you know you aren't going to survive that. Not sure if a baboon is smart enough to realize what's going on or not.

That's what gets a lot of us.

Nature is brutal in that it almost never happens for a wild animal to get old and die of natural causes. They are usually killed and often eaten by something. Some of them they become injured or sick and will end up starving to death.
