Never before have I been a "just friends" status with a woman and not be getting some type of benefit from it. When I was younger, I let a few of them get a bit too much for what it was worth.

They really want to believe these guys are their friends. There's nothing toxic about that. It's the sad sack guys that can't keep their dinks in check. And they blame women for it. Walking into a bar with 4-5 female friends is the ultimate SMV. Woman make the best wingmen, because women trust each other. If 5 girls are happy being in your prescence, it's a green flag for other women. Female friends are great, as long as they understand friends don't get gf treatment.
