I've been eating clean but have a hypothesis that eating dirty could be better.

I'll meal prep containers with rice, lean beef, vegetable, around 550 calories a pop. After eating those, I feel like they digest really fast and I'm hungry again quickly.

If I were to instead just eat something like chipotle burritos twice a day, the macros would be worse but that would keep me full and it would be around 2000 calories rather than 2750 with the clean example.

The overall hypothesis is that muscle is more about training than protein or macros so whatever solution lets me eat the least without feeling too depleted to train could yield the best results.

For being lean? There is no beating eating clean.
For just getting stronger without regards to weight? Eating moderately dirty is fine.

Biggest issue with eating dirty is that it becomes hard to hit macros under a caloric intake restriction.

That being said, I'm laying off junk/excessive drinking until the fall.
The beatings will continue until morale improves.

My body responds better to "dirty" too frankly.

People who think any particular diet is one sized fits all dont really get how biology works.

People are born with different responses to different stimuli. Other than core needs like water and oxygen, we all get branched out to respond best to different things.

Micronutrients intake is fine.

The main thing is I think dietary fat is what makes me feel full and dirty food is higher in fat. The clean bodybuilding style eating = carbs fuel energy for workouts which is what makes sense in theory but isn't holding up in practice for me because I feel hungry and drained eating clean.

Yeah man. I read the OP now.

You know rice is designed to flush the system in 60 minutes. In 60 minutes whatever amount of rice u ate its in the bloodstream.
You dont need the whole ass breakfast burritos and go dirty diet.
Just change carb source. Get the penne get the carbonara.
foccacia & the ciabatta.

It's the fat in the additional toppings that keeps you full. The guac, the queso, the cheese, sour cream, etc. just add those at home and get the same result.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

I've found a higher fat diet to be more effective. I feel better and don't get hungry. I try to keep an eye on added sugar and calories, but eating clean has never helped me stay leaner. I agree that it varies by person.
