Oh yeah apple was also one of the first in industry to push non upgradeable batteries on phones and. Laptops. And non upgradeable memory on laptops

Now everyone else saw how it had no impact on sales and does the same shit.


It took them 15 years to put a USB port on their phones.

Because they're not designed to be changed and the phones at this point involve suction cups removing glue and a 50 percent chance of breaking the screen

And the iPhone screens have a drm chip so it won't work correctly with a 3rd party screen and they won't sell you a new screen
