Able to maintain lifestyle and still live relatively comfortably to my own needs and then some, but definitely feeling the squeeze these days though ... I realize I'm spending a bit less on "luxury" or just being far more mindful of my spending overall , only to find out I'm having a bit lesser savings each month than I did previously because of rising costs everywhere (food, fuel etc) . Shit is pretty fucked though, I cant imagine how rough it is for people that are just getting by or living paycheck to paycheck.

Honestly if they just dropped the top marginal rate to, like, 30 per cent, a lot of people would quit all the tax strategy bullshit and just pay it.

For 47 cents on the dollar though, you might as well hire a team of accountants and lawyers, you literally have nothing to lose
I'd still employ some strategy but if the top marginal rate was 30% I'd take a pittance as a directors salary then distribute what I want out of post tax profits paid at 25% and pay $0.03 in the dollar tax once other tax thresholds are accounted for on the way up.

PRRT is another issue; when the country is earning more off of beer excise than it is the oil and gas being sold off cheaper than what we pay for it so it can be refined and sold back to us, there's an issue - and I don't even drink beer. I'm offended economically, not as a consoomer like most of the retards on social media kicking off about this.

180K a yr, plus a 40K bonus check last week (profit share). 2+ mil in retirement funds, zero debt, own my house and cars outright (for last 15 yrs).
Work from home as IT Security Engineer. Probably upper 5% in the world as it relates to normal working people. Early retirement soon...

Work is just fine if not better than last year. All my clients seem to be doing well.

Going to south of France and Monaco in June for a few weeks. Trying to figure out spring break, may just go to Florida for cheap fix kids love Busch Gardens and we have free passes.

Just had to shell out $30k on home repairs (rubber membrane failed and we had water leak into the outer walls), so we are putting off re-doing our Master bed/bath for about 6 months until we see what the market does. Tariffs and lack of skilled labor doubled the cost of the project between plans and permits.

Not even looking at my portfolio at this time.

I have not worked in 18 months now, just living off savings and living frugally. No holidays, no new toys, only really house bills, food, car payments like fuel and insurance, gym monthly.

I just like being NEET right now, rather than working a job I dislike around people I dislike for 40 hours per week. Its not like I am scrounging off the taxpayer as I pay my own way. I need to get a job before long though, like in the next 6 months.

Doing fine, just found out I saved more than I will need for my daughter's college, so I'll move the excess to my son's, and then there's only 20K to go for his to be fully funded, it will be done by the end of the year. Both their colleges paid for before they even get accepted. Looking forward to the extra disposable income. Then 2 years until child support is over and all my money will be mine finally.

No, lol. I'm 51 and with the current plan I will work for another 7 years for this company. I may not want to retire at 58, I like what I do and I make good money, why stop?

I am probably going to buy a townhouse/condo/house (not sure yet) in Florida this year or next though, winters in Florida, summers in Chicago. The amount I save for their college represents a mortgage payment on a condo, so it would be even money, but I may want something larger.

The problem with NEETing is that it gets SO freaking boring. I'm going to take classes in useful stuff like Photoshop (even thoiugh I took a class in that back in 2004) and professional video editing (even though I already know how they work) and Wordpress to make an epic blog as well as Outlook, etc.

Savings? Seems like depreciation would be a huge concern with that much liquidity. You don't have to move to SA with the interest if you had that in an index fund. At age 33, I'm somehow doubtful that you have this much clout. Most don't have any savings at all at that age.

35k cash, 12k investments, 380k condo that I pay hoa fees, nice newer paid v6 car, 350k duplex

I wanna get into solar sales within a reputable company lol... right now my current manager is planning on going back to school for hvac soon, and without an assistant manager, I'm doing a lot of the responsibilities such as bank deposits, health and safety and supply ordering lol... we are getting an assistant store manger soon, and the pay structure is nice.

But the company is like 3.3 stars on indeed, so I applied to a couple of solar sales companies rated at 4 and 5 stars. Couldn't schedule the interview for the 4 stars company so I'll just wait to hear from the 5 stars one hopefully lol... also got a steel worker temp job offer call but I told them I wanted to go into sales.

Doing great when compared to people my age, poverty when compared to misc CEOs, and billionaires.
With everything going on, it hasn't changed how I live, but I also don't live way above my means.

We're all going to make it brahs.
