Why wouldn't any potential fraud just forwarded to the DOJ? This was the problem with DOGE. DOGE didn't actually have any authority so any cuts had to be made by the Treasury Department, not by this artificial creation, likewise any fraud would have to be taken up by DOJ. Its a distraction and a redundancy, but of course the usual suspects are jumping up and down clapping like seals.

If you're that committed to reducing fraud, make it illegal for any elected representative (or any of their family members) to trade investments while their term is current.

The investigators were going to give their findings to Vance, who would send criminal referrals to the DOJ. Now they are going to report directly to blanche, bondi's #2. Nothing will come of this.
