After being deluded by the hustle my entire life, i'm finally settling down and opening my eyes to the world. Thinking back to all the people i've interacted with. Just sitting around public places watching people. Being more present. Seeing what I can learn from the happy people and what not to do with the miserable people.

The most miserable people by far are the higher education job title statuscels.
"Hey what do u do for a living?"
"Oh yea I got this cert and did that course blah blah blah."
"What's ur salary? 60k? yea i make 75k u chud. lick my ass and i can put u on game" Always looking to bait u into conversation just to one-up u.
Endless loop of chasing. Endless loop of one-upping each other to protect the fragile ego.
Endless loop of kissing ass to the next man up.

The happiest people are people who don't chase this loop. This loop that destroys ur nervous system. This loop of keeping receipts of the guy who mogged u so u gotta get back at him in a lawful but cheeky way.
The tradie who says what he wants regardless of other's feelings or having to worry about losing his job.
The degen who just approaches girls he finds attractive no fks given
Even the homeless guy yelling at u for a dollar has a far healthier nervous system

People are stressful. My life is setup where I don’t have to rely on people. And I don’t want people relying on me. This is the key to happiness on modern hyper capitalistic earth

i think this is right. like a person making $50k/year low stress income with no debt/paid off house and car could live more peacefully than many making 5x+ more money.

Didn't read the entire OP but the reason higher education doesn't give much return on investment is because it's too damn easy to get a degree. You could borderline retarded and get one. Just look at how poorly you can perform in high school and still get a degree.

Although they try to act like they do what they do as some kind of selfless public service, the whole education industry is a huge business. Everyone should understand that. First, they have you for 13 years where they mooch off the taxpayer. Then they try to get you into at least 4 more, and they overcharge. For profits have made it so that anyone and everyone can get in and get through. You not getting in, or flunking out is not good for their pockets. Because of financial backing for everyone and anyone, demand overrode supply and they charged more. Add DEI into the mix and now it really gets bad. Due to the bar lowering, even if you have a degree, something that would get you instantly accepted, now there is a good chance you'll have aptitude testing and such working in many professions.

i like this. have fun while young and also have in the back of your mind an overall goal to exit the rat race as soon as possible. this will likely mean buying and paying off a small house (people aren't having many kids nowadays and who cares about impressing people) while carrying little to no debt. at that point your overhead costs to life are low so you can continue having fun....like me for example, retired early and now work a few days a week at a job that has me chillin around new fertile women each day ,

Yea I remember my uncle telling me to get college educated at least. I didn’t know what he meant at the time but I think I undetstand now. Being college educated gives a better view of the world
