WTF is it with people and ketchup with eggs?

Got hungry this morning after breakfast, so went to the local g0yslop cafe to see what was about and got a scrambled egg and bacon bagel. Took it back to the car and checked it - crispy bacon, proper scrambled eggs on site (not that packet shit people sometimes serve) on a fresh bagel, and a tub of fucking ketchup. Could have been BBQ sauce, chilli jam, A1 sauce, HP sauce - but no, ketchup. Fucking lazy shit and tastes terrible with eggs.

Then I see p7nk doing it here all the time. Sorry, Chef - but you're wrong.

It's a standard deli/bodega kaiser roll. Super soft. You either get a roll or a hero. All the delis use the same bread. And you can get them with poppy seed too.

My first interaction with poverty was a ketchup incident. Went over a buddies house for a sleep over in grade school. The breakfast the mother had time to prepare for and represent the family with was hot dogs and dry scrambled eggs with ketchup. Walked home that morning, they live among us.

Sounds criminal. I just mix in some spices, cut a bit of spring onion and paprika on there, or something like that. Plenty of flavors mixed in with some butter.
