Now the narritive is that Iran is this peaceful nation that posed no threat to anyone but those same people where the one's condemning them for being a state sponsor of terrorism, but leave it to you liberals to twist that into "what is terrorism" and blur the definition. China gets oil from the Strait, and they continue to get it. Whether they pay the extra fee to pass through, idk. Iran probably doesn't charge them, I would assume, but they pay Iran for the oil. So Iran still gets paid.
Other countries will be paying Iran the fee tho.

Rubio straight up said we attacked Iran for Israel, Trump just today said that once the deadline ends, they will destroy Iran so that they can never "threaten Israel again"
The idea that Iran would nuke us if they got the weapon, well, why would they? They'd get obliterated in return. It's called M.A.D... We were told N.Korea would use nukes if they ever got a hold of them... They did, and guess what happened? Nothing, because N.Korea knows that would be the end of their existence as a human race.... Do you understand why Iran and other countries want nukes? Because that is the only protection they can truly have from a CIA backed takeover... Our government has tremendous experience in doing these "revolutions"
But okay, sure, you're right, Iran uses proxies to counter our positions and goals in the Middle East... But we do the same, to Iran, and to other countries we deem our adversaries... That's geopolitics... We are literally in Ukraine right now using them to kill Russians... Some could say that too is state sponsored terrorism (it is in the Russians eyes, I guarantee you). I dont think our leaders have the high ground here.
I'm not pro-Iran, not pro-Islam, but I feel this war is doing more damage than good to the U.S. Especially if this ends with Iran having full control and power of the Strait. And I think Trump got himself in a shitshow because the original plan of regime change in the initial strike didn't work... If that worked, I would have given tremendous props to Trump. That would have been one of the greatest accomplishments from any U.S. President.
If this ends with Iran having full control of the strait, this will be a huge L for U.S. influence worldwide, and especially in the Middle East. It will show we can't protect Arab allies, and we weren't able to project our power as greatly as expected. And this is the issue now, that Trump needs to figure out IMO. We should have done nothing if that's the case, let Israel fight it out 1v1 with Iran.
