I know a few nurses, and yea, they make easy 6 figures.

Attend a 2-year community college, then apply to the nursing program, earning 6 figures with basically zero debt.

My wife makes double that. Obviously, some of it depends on experience, administrative level, and willingness to work overtime.

Anyone who has had kids or dealt with serious medical stuff knows nurses run hospitals. Sloots or not, having a good nurse is an absolute game changer in terms of your healthcare experience.

Would you rather communicate most of your issues to Dr. Patel and his resident Dr. Rajesh? That’s not how it works

Sometimes you might have to, but they have LVNs (people below R.N.) who mostly do that.

R.N. is a good career path tbh... Very in demand, easy to get a job, good benefits, security, and can make good money, especially with OT.

It’s a smart move. And if you have a good work ethic, you can make a lot more than the 93,000. Serious.

How many hours do you have to work tho?

I hear they work 50 plus hours a week and unlike an office job where you can just chill and end up maybe working 10-20 hours a week for the same pay this job seems like you’d actually be working the 50 hours.

Doesn’t seem worth it. Think they deserve more.

I know plenty, plenty of "office jobs" that don't make anywhere near what an R.N. would make...

Saying "office job" is a pretty broad word

Notbadbrad only makes 120k/year usd. Not much more than an HR specialist or Social Media Coordinator in the states.

My point is that nurses are really working for their money.

Most jobs that quote 40 hour weeks rarely require an actual 40 hours whereas with a nurse they are actually working for every penny.

Seems like a tough and demanding job and I think they are underpaid tbh

Same but no overtime. She's admin now. She originally got a bachelor's in social work. Out of college, she was making 32k a year. Crazy. She went back for nursing and 7 years later is making 6 times that.

Yeah but if they’re not completely fugly they can marry one of the doctors they’re smashing and hopefully upgrade from the fat impotent carsalesman that paid their way through nursing school

Yeah, my wife is administrator also. She started off as an RN back in the day. Then she was a charge nurse. Then she was a preceptor. Then she was the director of the ICU. Now she’s the house supervisor.

Which, to the best of my knowledge, if the hospital was a school, it’s kind of like being the principal.

Like someone else said, I think that type of thing is probably more reserved for nurse aids and nurse assistants. But I’m sure even the RN’s have to do some of that, too.

But like anything else, as you work your way up the food chain, you start to get further and further removed from that type of thing

They do a lot more than just bring slop to your room. They have to retain tons of knowledge pertaining to certain injuries and have to understand pharmacology to a certain degree...not to mention the selflessness it takes to physically wipe another human's shit and help them out through tough times.

Who else deserves to make 6 figures? BlackRock? Jamie Dimon?..Sam Altman? Jfl what a braindead loser ass take.
Do not think that what is hard for you to master is humanly impossible; and if it is humanly possible, consider it to be within your reach.

So is every other field... Most jobs are nothing but a paycheck for people... Mind blowing information...

its retarded to think nurses don't deserve their income... It's one field that deserves its income. Nurses basically run the hospital, it's not the doctors. Anyone who spent serious time in a hospital understands this.

You can go to urgent care and get better care than what the retards at the hospital do

You sound like a male nurse too lmao

Nobody is hiring inexperienced ASNs any more. It's BSN or nothing unless you're grandfathered in.

Standard schedule is 3 12's a week, but can generally pick up as many extra shifts as you want.
