Full back day. No rows. No pulldowns. ***Tendinitis Edition***
Pull Day - Tendinitis Protocol
I’ve been dealing with pain in my right arm for at least a few months. I’ve tried different grips, different exercises, lower volume, lower frequency, BPC-157, etc.
It’s finally time to do what I should’ve done months ago, and take a few weeks off of all elbow flexion exercises.
Still trying to get as much activity as I can in the lats through pullovers, which has very minimal elbow flexion. And I can still hit the upper back and some of the mid back with shrug variations.
It’s not easy to pull back, but I’ve been redlining and avoiding it for too long.

Tendonitis is the $hits, brah. I fkd my outside upper shoulder doing something stupid, and keep trying to work out. Takes forever to heal as we age, and it sucks to wait for things to heal. Then you go back to working out and fck it up again.

Sucks dude, I get it too on the inside of my forearms. I've learned to work around it at the first sign of pain or it will get worse and take a long time to recover.
Pull day here too.

Focus on the simple compounds and pull back on your isolation work. You're a smart guy Drew...do what you need to do.

Have you tired one of those hard braces that go on the forearm, right under the elbow? Not sure how they work, but you put it on and pull it tight and it helps relieve some of the pain so you can lift.

I have on/off issues with right elbow tendonitis as well. I try and take it easy, but the pain still flares up. I also avoid certain excercises like the plague.
I use various gels and creams (like Ibuprofen gel) on my elbow area and also use heated bean bags.
