Who here eats the spiciest food?
I expect a lot of frauding answers just like if I were to make a thread asking about lifting.

I'm good up until habanero territory. Anything above that is just stupid IMO. I like to enjoy different flavors and I don't want to become dependent on hot sauce or peppers just to eat.

I have a pretty high spice tolerance, but I'll suffer for the rest of the week lmao
I hate how you can't just enjoy hot sauce anymore, it's always "ASSHOLE NAPALM 9000"

I completed a challenge that guy on “Man Vs. Food” did on his series once.

I like a little spice. Like level 2 out of 10. I've never understood people who order something that's too spicy and then visibly suffer through it. I know this Asian guy who will buy whatever is the spiciest, and then will be sweating, turning red, with tears in his eyes while eating.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

Nope. But my uncle used to order his Thai food at the maximum spice level. Usually restaurants would only serve these spicy dishes to their Thai customers and even if an American ordered it, they’d hold back, so he always had to make it clear he could handle the heat.
I tried it before and too much spiciness just destroys the flavor of the food.

I used to challenge myself with eating spicy stuff. I have my limits though. Well above Habanero, but well short of Carolina Reaper. After seeing people have health emergencies with some of this stuff, I now believe it's more than just heat on your tongue.

Having scandinavian genetics, I've never liked SUPER hot and spicy shit.
I cannot comprehend WHY people enjoy that painful chemical type burning that comes from very hot stuff....
I mean I love tabasco chipotle on my eggs and AutoBeener foods, and Cholula Hot Sauce, but thats a milder sauce.
If you know how to cook properly, you don't need or WANT hot sauce as it ruins the nice flavors. Bl*ck people think that dousing Lawsons Seasoning Salt over everything is somehow "delicious" when its just retarded over-spicing of trash food.
People who enjoy pain in their mouth are dumb AF.
Having to super-spice foods come from the poor people who need to mask the rancid flavors of rotten meats... Shitholes of India, mexico, and places where the p00rs cannot afford a refrigerator, or fresh meat, need to cover up the smell of rotting flesh. Thats where this comes form. POVERTY 3rd world shitholes.
SRS.

and @ op, i can still handle spicy food , but last couple years my acid reflux says no. not a problem eating/getting it down , i always love spicy food and still do. probably a 8/10 tolerance at my peak i could put foreigners to shame. the sort of hot i like is ur scalp sweating hot, constantly wiping the sweat off ur forehead, snot coming out my nose etc.
Ur chinese arent u? ever heard of "hot n sour soup"? love that shit, always tell them to make it spicy as fuck, no hold back. get that if u have a sinus infection, will clear u right out.
Trust me when I say, the FEDs are watching.

I'll order spicy food and it hardly registers, the joys of being a heavy smoker, tongue is coated in grey stuff so I cant taste anything, I've never had anything truly spicy so maybe it would hit different.

I still eat spicy food but had to cut back . Years ago in a bar in one of our largest cities they have these incredible suicide wings .
The bar tender told me in all his years I was the first person he had ever witnessed eating that many of their hottest wings . They were so hot I had a steady river of sweat pouring off my nose lol .
Years later we got a Mexican restaurant in town , and when they seen me come in you could hear the blender fire up . They knew I liked extra hot salsa , so they mixed in extra jalapeño’s .
Anyways not only did I have a ring of fire 8 hours later , but severe blood loss . I’d get this terrible pain in my colon , like a huge pressure, and it was caused from blood buildup.
As soon as I released a torrent of blood the feeling was euphoric , and when it finally stopped I’d look down in the bowl and just see it full of blood .
The experience is similar to a major diarrhea attack ,but you’re pissing heavy streams of blood instead of stool out of your ass.
I think losing a few litres of blood on occasion is probably healthy AF , as I always felt better than normal afterwards. But I’m too old for that chit now
