His podcast is alright but he’s a fraud srs. He claims to be half Nicaraguan but his dad was a rich Polish businessman who ended up there before moving to New Orleans. His mom was a gold digger so he’s at least partially low class, but he did not grow up poor as he claims.

The hillbilly act is also fake. He was on a reality TV show in the early 2000s and acted completely different.

he was on america worst driver or some shit. he seemed more or less the same to me. its been like 25 years though, he probably evolved as a person a bit. hes almost 46. i thought he was like 29 or 30 until a couple years ago

i like his podcast for light hearted shit when i dont want to be bombarded with rage bait. "we had this dude....." insert fucken retarded story lol always cracks me up

True. IMO his best podcasts are the ones where he interviews regular people. The Amish episode was pretty good. There was another one with an FDNY fireman I enjoyed.

But I think Theo’s stories are mostly bullshit even if they’re based on true events. Kinda like Joey Diaz where he takes something that happens and embellishes the shit out of it. I guess that’s his job as a comedian though.

yeah i dont believe he's a hillbilly in the way i am for one second. he may he actually grew up in a smallish town though. i think he is way funnier on podcast casual talking than his standup

he isnt really funny in a haha way. that isn't his thing. his schtick is more of a character from the South experiencing the world.

I like him. His instincts are very very good about a lot of things (I'm not EVEN talking about his recent antisemitic stuff) but even years ago when he wasn't popular and would do his podcasts alone. many times hes said something with great intuition but is limited by his vocabulary and when he said it, came across as absurd...still correct though.
