Hell its been so long since all this started did we start the attack? or Israel? If it was Israel I guess it could give Trump a little bit of an excuse on why there wasn't a plan and military assets ready to go. If Israel was in check though they'd check with us before an attack and we could tell them wait up we need XXX amount of time to get ready.

The reason for the attack changed many times after it failed and trump had to fish for a reason the public would support for a prolonged conflict, but the initial attack was a joint israel/us operation.
