Any other Toronto miscers checking this out?
Thinking of heading to the city and getting absolutely rinsed in this parking lot to stare at this block of ice. Burried in the ice is drakes new album release date.
Fired right up.

Isn't like 98% of your country ice?
"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

Neither do I. It seems like way too much marketing spend for what it's delivering.
It’s a pile of ice bricks that have no utility that will eventually melt …the land isn’t even owned
It’s not even difficult to construct..not like you need specialized tradies
Ice is also free so was it 1.2m in labour costs? Or maybe the city required a special permit that made up a large part of the cost?
A house in Toronto costs less to construct

I may consider moving to downtown Toronto if my job takes off even a fraction of what I hope it will, can't see myself living in the country, in Nova Scotia at that.

And then you have all the labor, refrigerated trucks, various equipment, lease for space, security, and then they're gonna rip him off because they can because it's a special exhibit installation. And yes, there is permits involved, have no idea what they cost.
OR, Drake could be fudging the numbers, too

Maybe it’s one of those grass is always greener cases. What attracts you to downtown Toronto?

Wealthy people seem to congregate in populated places, there ARE wealthy people here but nowhere near the level of some in a big city like Toronto, 95% of the people I have always known here are just scraping bottom, some are proud of themselves because they might have a management job at mcdonalds making 23.00 an hour and look well off compared to the people making minimum wage, you can polish a piece of shit but its still a piece of shit, I'm dreaming bigger than that, if my job works out even a fraction of what I think it will (providing I can pass the exams, I made a video just now), I will be making likely 80k a year, I know literally one person who makes that kind of income here, but my dream is potentially bigger than that and if I excel at this role as well as I think I will based on my past performance in sales I could be making like half a million a year, its that kind of income that would make me want to move away to a big city and buy a million dollar condo or townhouse.

Good luck brah a good Nova Scotian lad like yourself would be a welcome addition to the city unlike some other undesirables who have flooded the city in recent decades (won’t be specific here lol)
