What is a 41 yr old single man supposed to do with his time outside work?

That's what I struggle with Thursday evening, Friday evening, Saturday evening, etc.

All my coworkers are married, go on vacations with their partners/kids, go to fun events over the weekends, while I rotted at home wishing that I had a significant other

I'm on dating apps but it hasn't been successful for me

I don't know how it seems so many people are doing well but I've missed my boat, single, childless, and not much going on outside of work

I love people who whine about what to do when the possibilities are literally endless.

The asset you have is time. Start a side hustle and make more money, go get laid, find a community, take a class, play a sport. You can do anything.

Stop being so stupid about how you spend your time. If you're looking for motivation from strangers on a message board, just start by forcing yourself to leave your house.

When I got divorced at 41 I was getting laid twice a week at least, went back to school and started a side hustle that is now 20% of my income passively.

Take a class, learn a new skill.

Just go out and be social, talk to people.

As a 40 year old in a similar situation, you gotta go out and make your fun. I personally am in pure hustle mode, and workout 6x per week and spend at least 55 hours per week working. Obviously in my situation it's not super easy to have a great social life. However, I'm looking to semi-retire after all of my current projects are completed, which will allow me to actually spend a good amount of time socializing.
