Not to defend ICE/Trump, but if people see US agents storming a vessel with foreign workers on, due to the way they have been promoted by the government & allowed to act/amount of news coverage they have had the last year or so they are automatically going to assume it is ICE & report it as such. It would be the lowest of the low to make up a story saying they are diddlers if they are just being hauled off & detained as illegals. Anything is possible with this regime who spout out ridiculous lies 24/7, but I doubt it & they would be wanting to push the illegals narrative first & foremost.
