Go to Chipolte often and any type place like that they try to maximize and get as much as they can. Bowl stacked almost twice as high falling over the sides and they can't even get the lid on.

The CEO just did an interview claiming there is plenty of food, just ask for more. He forgot to say you have to pay for more, this may be the disconnect that has enraged this young neuroscientist.

YES, anyone with a functioning-brain realizes you have to pay for more ...but he answered that question with an intentionally vague answer to maybe drive business.

the thing I've never got about Chipotle is about how it only tastes good for like maybe 25% of the bowl and then it starts to tastes like slop. Why would you want more? Even if you eat more food ...I am willing to bet you will STILL get hungry at a later time anyway unless extenuating circumstances or something.

i dunno. taco bell is better at least for variety imo (strong statement though as everything there is just the same thing/same ingredients in a different-shape more or less).

It's a combination of entitlement and just wanting more for the sake of getting all they can, also they will get one bowl and try to feed an entire family on it. Sometimes I see them stack the bowl, eat half of it, then throw it out. Just main character syndrome.

Line it with a tortilla (25 cent charge, I've only been charged a handful of times)
Double rice double beans (no charge, 2-3x fiber/carbs/passive protein from beans)
Get all free sides
Now for the tricky part. Ask them for half one meat and half the other. They have muscle memory for portion control and 99% of people get a single scoop of a single meat. Having them do two scoops and guessing what a 50% scoop is will work in your favor. Problem is they will charge you for the more expensive meat, but some people are already ordering the steak, so it is what it is.
No guac, obviously.
Then get a water cup and make an Arnold Palmer at the fountain with unsweetened ice tea.

Never get a burrito, they are consciously altering portion size knowing they have to roll it without tearing. That's a rookie move.

That's a perfect chipotle order that takes advantage of them in your benefit, but isn't over the top, plus no one will try to fight you.

i always feel like I'm the one being taken advantage of by having to eat it.

taco bell for all its faults has a very specific craving it satisfies. not the best but for what it is and price ...good deal.

This is true for the best bowl. I usually don’t do double rice because I don’t want it but I would do double beans and then also ask for both kind of beans

The old misc trick would be to ask for steak, then say “wait I actually want half chicken half steak” while they were pouring you the full portion of steak already. Then ask for double meat. The idea was that all this confusion would result in way more meat, but I always found that it just gave them too many opportunities to correct their earlier overpour if the first portion of steak.

I don’t really eat chipotle any more. I stopped going a few years ago because I got like two or three bowls in a row where the meat was like 30% fatty grizzle pieces
