I asked Google and it says

"Eating only rotisserie chicken, rice, and broccoli every day provides a solid base of lean protein, complex carbs, and fiber. However, this severely limits your intake of healthy fats, specific micronutrients, and calorie variety. Over time, this diet will likely cause nutrient deficiencies, physical fatigue, and mental burnout."

I don't know if its right or if its lying and trying to keep all the rotisserie chickens for itself

I am what would happen if you did that. I’ve been doing it for 139 weeks.

Dead serious.

Except they don’t use rotisserie chicken. I buy chicken breasts and chop them up.

Chicken breast
Rice
Broccoli
Wild caught salmon
Flank steak
An occasional apple

6x per day and that’s it. For 2 1/2 years.

Somebody mentioned fiber above. I do get some fiber from the broccoli obviously. But I also supplement with 3 tablespoons of psyllium husk daily. And I take a multivitamin.

You fucking lie, you would eat all of it and wash it down with a pizza, ice cream, and a meal from A&W.

The chemicals in those rotisserie chickens from Costco can cause cancer if you over indulge in them

Not nearly as quickly as the chemicals in Little Debbie snack cakes and McDonald’s cheeseburgers.

Again, I don’t eat rotisserie chicken. I cook my own chicken.

But it always strikes me when people shoot down improved choices.

It’s an improvement over the average American diet by a country mile. That’s what counts.

Then later, you can nitpick the details once you’ve made the major improvements.

I’m just trying to pass along information that I learned about that others may not know. I knew a surfer on the central coast of California where I went to high school who was a few years older than me and he bought about 5 or 6 of those Costco rotisserie chickens daily and made sandwiches out of them and drove all over the state to surf.

He came down with cancer eventually, we all think it was caused by the rotisserie chickens he ate, but luckily it went into remission but it could’ve turned out worse. The average person here probably wouldn’t be buying that many chickens daily but it should make you reconsider.

I guess I should’ve said “very occasional apples/blueberries” because once in a blue moon, I will also have blueberries with my rice (in the rare event that I blend my rice in the ninja and eat cream of rice instead of regular rice).

But honestly, the blend of foods that I eat now gives me some healthy fats from salmon, a little saturated fat from the lean beef/steak, pretty good micro nutrients from the vegetables (I just dump a bag of broccoli or whatever vegetables in my rice cooker to cook with my rice every day). Plus, like I said, I take a multivitamin.

I’ve been doing it for over 2 1/2 years and so far so good. Not necessarily recommending such a restrictive diet for other people.

But honestly, that’s what I need. So if I’m sacrificing some perfect blend of micronutrients/variety in favor of having total control, so be it. 🤷🏼

Why not go with rotisserie for the chicken part of that? It tastes better, costs less, and much less work.

This guy is schizophrenic but he's somewhat right on this one. There is something wrong with the rotisserie chicken from Costco specifically. It tastes weird and wrong and it makes my piss smell bad after I eat it. No issues with the chicken from anywhere else though.
