3 day weekends is literally PERFECTION.

I absolutely wouldn't mind wageslaving if we had 3 day weekends. I feel so rested with that extra day.

Monday - Wednesday is a drag and Im ready for it to be over by Wednesday. If Thursday became the new Friday it'd be GOATED. Also you can actually get shit done whether it be chores and obligations or traveling somewhere close.

My next job i will definitely try negotiating 4x10s at the least.

I usually take Fridays off. 3 day weekend every weekend.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

How are you in position to take Fridays off every week?

What career field are you in?

Once 3 is the norm you'll want 4.

I am a CTO for an MSP. I get to make my own schedule and have complete autonomy.

That might be true, but it wouldn't change the fact that it's a much healthier balance to have 4 days on and 3 days off so the benefits OP is describing would still be there.

It's very unlikely production would suffer for most positions we've just settle in to what is traditionally expected of full time work 5 days a week
"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

No. During the pandemic I was ready to go back to work.

Ideally if I could do 1 week on 1 weeks off that would be GOAT
