What's the longest you fasted?

My record is only 2.5 days. I got dizzy but I didn't do electrolyte supplementation

I've done a lot of basically PSMF type low calorie diets but not prolonged fasts

Tried my first fast last week . Made it 43 hours srs . I was doing fine till I exerted myself and just about passed out . I was consuming sea salt , magnesium and potassium to keep my electrolytes up to,but didn’t help .
I talked to the doctor who recommends my heart medication , and she said the most I should ever fast is 18 hours .
Then I asked the nutritionalist after I got diabetes, and she said never fast . ‘Thing is , I watched a YouTube video on a doctor that specializes in diabetes type 2 , and he recommends fasting once a month for his patients. And he posts proof of how well they’re numbers improve after doing it , so I’m still going to try and do a 2 day fast once a month

Yes really
Started last night and already regretting it. Hungry as fuck without my ADD meds, which I also quit

I think it will be better after the first 24 hours when the body tells the brain the tour is over

It's not about how long you have done fasts it about how long you could do them I did a 15 day no water fast once to see not how long I could do one but how I'm feeling during one and after those 15 days I came to a conclusion I could do it for as long as I wished.

The problem is that you have a weak mind, fasting will help you make it stronger. When you get hungry read the Bible where Jesus is tempted by Satan in the desert after 40 days of fasting.

it gets easier the more times you do it

hunger isn't the issue when you fast for 48hrs+ (even when i did 210hrs, my body was fatigued because i was stilll doing cardio, not taking enough electrolytes so had to stop)

boredom kicks in and that's why you want to break

the body is built for fasting, you live off your fat. it's as simple as that. your body releases hormones to stop you feeling hungry and stops/slows your digistive system after a few days to preserve energy

all these stories where people were ship wrecked on an island etc. issue was getting enough water to drink over time, not lack of food or feeling hungry all the time

if you stop eating fake food your hunger signals completely change and reset over time

it goes back to being like a kid where you were really never hungry but running around like a little n**** all day long - and only ate when you were called in for dinner

Depends what you mean, I'm on day 3 of an extreme diet, I just allow myself roughly 600 calories a day which I walk off in 2 hours each day.

I think 24 hours. I broke fast with fast food.

Never seen any real need to fast for prolonged period.

I've done 36 hours several times, and was doing 24 hours once a week for a while.

More so for the mental benefits around rituals of food and eating. You really waste a shit ton of time thinking about meals, prepping and eating stuff.

Roughly 23 hours. At my last job I was working frac sites. No food on site and nothing was open when I left for the site, so I just ate once a day after work.

I had a colonoscopy back in February. I had to not eat 24 hours before the procedure, but I had stopped eating about nine hours before that. So I guess 33 hours? It wasn't hard.
