I mean full no calorie no food fast. But electrolytes and black coffee or plain tea. I would even say diet soda but some people don't like that they say the fake sugars manipulate your real blood sugar.

Yeah Ive done psmf before, in fact most of my failed fasting attempts end up in psmf, I end up feeling bad and eating a small amount then feel way better

The longest fast I've done was 5 days. What I've also done is a extreme cut strategy of fast 2 days, eat 1 day, repeat. I've also tried PSMF before. All in all, I've definitely got at least 100 days of total fasted days under my belt so my experience on it should be considered.

My thoughts are, if you're going to do it, go all the way on the fast and no half measures like PSMF. Secondly, it's a ok option if you have no other options, but if you do have the option of eating clean and exercising, that's just better. The problem with the fasting approach is absolutely garbage workouts.

Must've been around 36-40 hours?

I can't do prolonged fasting like some people. I also get dizzy, lightheaded and weak, usually after only 18 hours or so. It's the reason why I quit intermittent fasting altogether. However a few years ago I was committed when I still worked remote, so I would sit at my computer desk and sip on green tea or water with a pinch of salt and that was generally enough to get by.

I remember Muzzlr posted a thread about lifting during a multiday fast and I couldn't understand how the fuck he was doing it without passing out.

I really don't buy the theory that fasting has all these health benefits though. I felt no better after doing it. Worse, in fact.

You probably didn't stick it out long enough. The first few days are really hard but once your body gets used to it, it gets a lot easier. But again, I think regular diet and exercise works better anyway.

I normally do 5 days fasts throughout the year. I do it for autophagy benefits, not weight loss. During those 5 days I don't weight train...stick with short brisk walks only.

16 days

I was getting robbed and didn’t have money for food. Two police officers used me for target practice when I collapsed and couldn’t move because my body couldn’t manufacture ATP to move my muscles
