My dietbeetus has taken a turn for the worse.

I hope you’re not using a test strip blood glucose meter full time. My blood sugar is at 97 but I knew it was dropping fast from my CGM so I drank some OJ and had a natural protein bar

OP is there any icecream that you have found that doesn’t raise your levels ? Faurk , srs I’d like a treat once in a while .
Tried Greek Yogurt and it’s like eating sour fking cream


Btw I’m using mmol/L instead of the scale you are using . Is there any advantage to setting the machine to mg/dl?

Lol, yeah its a pain in the ass when one gets knocked off. A lot of people use Libre, I use dexcom. Mirin blood sugar though

Edit - For those unaware- non-diabetics blood sugar typically ranges from 80-120 with a little wiggle room so OP is well within range

I don't do sweets that often. But I do have a Creami, sometimes I make my own ice cream. There are a lot of good recipes that are low carb.

My brother loves Halo Top. It tastes pretty good. But he's also not diabetic. I don't know if it spikes your sugar.

Damn, according to that chart, I need to go see a doctor. Sometimes my blood sugar is 68-70 from fasting and not eating carbs. (Super Ded fkn Srs)

No idea what a creami is as I don’t think they’re in Canada . The options are not looking good tbh . Just tried some really gross vegan chocolate icecream and I spiked up to 8.5 mmol/L

Try these, theyre at most grocery stores. Theyre greek yogurt based but dont really taste like greek yogurt. Not bad on the blood sugar as well, called yasso bars

I was going to mention I woke up one day and felt like chit . Check my glucose and I’m just over 10.4 mmol/L . Pretty much stayed like that all day , then I did legs and dropped to 5.1 mmol/L .
Walking a mile doesn’t seem to effect my glucose readings at all , but weight lifting does substantially

Cardio helps a lot. And eating low carb. That's the hard part. Because rice is the best.

When I do my 5 day fasts...mine dips down to the low 50's for the last 2 days. Happens all the time.
