Fuark, cooked meal but ate too quick for pics

Butter poached lobster tail linguine

30ml water in a pan, whisk in 250g butter slowly in between dropping in thin diced shallots, 2x cloves garlic smashed but not chopped, thyme, chilli flakes, lemon zest and lemon juice with cracked pepper and salt; poach lobster tails until opaque while you cook the pasta however the fuck you're supposed to; butter poach liquid becomes pasta sauce.

For some stupid reason I pan fried Swiss brown mushrooms, another shallot and two more garlic cloves finely chopped. Great side dish, not traditional though.

I paid like $60 a month or so back for lobster linguine and the fucking 50 grams of lobster had been boiled and I'm sure the sauce had cream in it. Made this for like $25 with 200g lobster for each of us and about 25 minutes of time, plus a bunch of Silver Patron while I was cooking.

Mezcal in a bloody mary is next level. You can also make a sort of Old Fashioned type thing with it which is great on a camping trip. If you can be arsed taking some basic cocktail supplies camping with you.
