Last year I was at a friends large Thanksgiving lunch in rural Georgia. I had shot a deer that morning and was skinning it in the side yard as people were pulling up. All the old men gave me a nod. Well I was in a rush because I wanted to shower and change pre lunch, so I sliced my finger up real good. Borderline stitches, but it bleed a lot. Finished the deer covered in blood, came inside and washed my hand in the kitchen sink as everyone at the lunch party was in the dinning room saying grace. Turns out they kept the drinks by the sink, so as I'm covering the sink in blood half the party comes out shoulder to shoulder with me. Kinda ruined the appetite of some, but an old guy in camo said it will make a good scar. It did.
