No Expert by any means so take this with a grain of salt, but I have I mate that works in one of the stock exchanges (not any American one). One of their jobs is to track insider trading. He said it's basically stacked against us peasants, all these guys at the top know each other, they all Go to each other's kids birthday parties, always have lunches together at some charity event or whatever junket is on. What do you think they're talking about, not about their little Brats birthday. They sharing insider trading info and strategizing . You also have these massive fund managers run by vanguard and black rock etc.. my mate was basically saying that the stock market is being manipulated and all you can do is hope to get some crumbs.

I thought he was full of shit than the Epstein files came out and it does seem they all know each other and seem to be coordinating some shit.

That doesn't surprise me at all ded srs. Seems like a lot of major institutions are rigged at the top

And despite all of that. 90% of them fail to beat a simple S&P 500 index fund. The idea that the stock market is rigged and the little guy can't compete is what they want you to believe. So you hire an 'expert' to invest or manage your money for you. They can get you a mediocre return. And they take a cut of any profits you might make.


My investment strategy is simple:
-In my 457B I have 70% S&P 500, 10% mid caps 10% small caps 10% international.
-In my ROTH IRA: SPMO/VGT with 50% in each.
-Regular brokerage I hold 10% cash in a high yield account (Emergency savings account). 45% SPMO / 45% VGT.
-Crypto BTC, ETH, SOL & XRP.

I've outperformed most professionals by a large margin. And I'm a little guy with no inside connections.
