You’re supposed to take meds so the native hair (non transplanted hair) doesn’t fall out.

People who don’t take meds will often get multiple transplants. The issue is there is only so much hair you can move from the back and sides (donor area) to the balding areas. Most guys have about 10k grafts available.

For reference my transplant was 4k grafts. I’m also on Dutasteride and oral minoxidil so my native hair should be safe with continued use and I won’t have any of those problems with needing to get multiple transplants and running out of grafts from the donor area(s).

what is your dosage post surgery? I imagine you are taking some type of stride and minoxidil but what else? did you ever look into plasma treatment?

2.5mg of oral minoxidil and 0.5mg of dustasteride daily. I was Microneedling weekly at a 1.5mm depth prior to the transplant but stopped after the surgery.

The clinic suggested I get prp therapy and tried to sell me their mesotherapy treatment but I decided against both as I haven’t seen enough strong evidence suggesting either work for hair loss.

I did do a 2 hour hyperbaric oxygen chamber session the day after the transplant that supposedly helps with recovery but that was apart of the package. I doubt it did anything.

No problem.

And thanks man I really appreciate the comment. There are worse things in life for sure but balding has been a massive point of contention for me so it feels great to be seeing these early results.

I think it makes sense because I’m seeing hair gains in 4/5 day increments (I genuinely think my hair at 3.15 months is better than my hair at 3 months). Or I’m delusional.

Otherwise I agree it’s pretty unconventional to quote months in decimals and wouldn’t make a ton of sense in most instances.

Yeah I think so

Something like the below I think looks good. It’ll probably turn into one of those “what you think you look like vs what you actually look like” memes since I’m much uglier than any of those guys.

I didn’t have the adjustable guard at the time so couldn’t really do it properly. But just got an attachment that lets me adjust by the mm.

Ah, I was thinking differently; heavier down bottom up into a skin fade

This is more the style I've had the last couple months once I found a barber who couldn't fuck it up

negged for being a beta soycuck who got a hair transplant instead of embracing baldness like a real man srs.

I don’t think a transplant is necessarily in the same category as plastic surgery.

A transplant is literally just taking hair from one part of your head and moving it to another restoring the way you looked prior to hair loss. Whereas plastic surgery involves implanting a foreign object to change the way you look.

Key difference is restoration vs changing.

Looks great and I'm glad you're happy but...leaving society because of hair loss is fucking retarded.

Get back out there...you have so much to offer besides your hair...
