Nope, he's not funny. Modern top comedians shit all over him, but I also think that's just how things progress. He was probably epic level funny in his era, but things get better over time usually. If you look at comedy from the 1950s, it was all weak compared to now.

Even with Misc, if you look at 2012 Misc, people were laughing so hard over the dumbest shit, it's because it was new

Literally no one thought those standup clips at the start of the seinfield sitcom were funny when the show was airing, people would actually comment about how weak they were etc. Idk about his actual standup but you would think it never got funnier than the clips on his show.

Wrong. They were all great including Jerry. It’s just his stand up that sucks. I’ve noticed this about a lot of comedians…they can either act funny or write funny but rarely both
