Anyone find it weird how full grown adults used to fear you as a child?

Thinking about it now as a full grown adult it's kinda funny how there were able-bodied middle aged adults from 30-55 who feared me when I was like 12 years old. Makes u wonder how bad life must suck living that anxiously all the time
