Guy I befriended has blocked me

My texts aren’t getting delivered. Pls respond

Thoughts on what happened?

I met him at an event a few weeks back. Him and I hung out with a girl, and we all met each other same night.

Last weekend I went out with that girl. I didn’t want to invite another guy and wanted to see if anything progresses with this girl.

He called me late that evening while I was out with that girl and her friend. I texted him that I’m in downtown and asked if he’s out? He replied he’s at home and where Im going to? I unfortunately left him on read. I didn’t think he’d get so butthurt as guys but apparently he did and he blocked me.

Welcome to making friends as an adult. Similar thing literally just happened to me last weekend (ded fkin srs). Went out to a coffee shop with my girl, she ran into one of her friends who was with a brah. We sat there for an hour, had a great convo. The dude gave me his number and said to text him so we can meet up again. So I did as soon as we left. Never heard back. The cocksucker just left me on read.

People are fake AF. After about age 25 friendships become entirely transactional. If they can’t get something out of it, whether that be professional gain, knowledge about a hobby, business or access to a higher status social network, nobody wants to connect.

It blows my mind because I don’t offer to hang out with people I have no desire to be around. I don’t understand why people say things they have no intention of following through with.

In your case the guy sounds like a queer so I wouldn’t even worry about it.
