Should have focused less on education and more on using ChatGPT to write emails.

Who knows man

I’m definitely not an AI expert and have no idea what the future holds but I will say as of now you need to understand a subject to even know what to prompt the LLM…. They just make the grunt work easier but you still have to have insight and understand the broader subject that you’re using it for especially because you need to be able to analyze its output and correct it, in many instances

They probably consider him overqualified. If he removes the education section from his resume, McDonald's would hire him by end of business today.

10 years or so ago when I was switching careers I had trouble getting my first job, so I did work for free in exchange for good references and such, and that's what helped me get my first job in that field.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

Not everyone can afford to work for free, especially when you’re young and haven’t accumulated any savings.

Your advice isn’t grounded in reality and is completely idealistic.

When I did it, I had a full time job, I did that on the side. It was realistic when I did it.

How does that make more sense? I didn't have money, or savings, or anything. I made $13.50/h. I did it because I had no other choice, unlike the crybaby in the OP who still lives with Mommy and Daddy.

Not to mention, from my understanding, now a lot of places don't consider unpaid experience/internships to be actual experience. So imagine...completely cucking yourself to work for free - only for employers to say "Yeah...that doesn't count".

It makes more sense because your original post implied you just worked for free with no source of income at all. Which would be impossible unless you lived at home or had like 6 months runway in savings. Which isn’t possible for a lot of people coming out of college.

The 13.50/h is a grind and sucks but at least makes this whole work for free shit feasible. I still think it’s cuck behaviour and I wouldn’t do it out of principle.
