Get some good quality buns/rolls for the toast. Kaiser rolls work well. Srs.

I usually tear them in half (across the line you'd usually slice them) as it's rougher and gives better ridges for toasting. Toast them well, should be golden with a few small crispy burned bits for flavour.

Give the toast a good thick layer of decent salter butter. Lurpak or Kerrygold.

Use these beans, cook them in a saucepan, DO NOT boil them. Simmer them until the sauce steams, low to medium heat, beans shouldn't be mushy either.



Then add a generous drizzle of this sauce:

(whole foods and a bunch of other places like British/Irish stores sell it) and finish with a sprinkle of white pepper.

The beans are the only thing that's from PA and not total shit.


Beans and tuna sounds fucking disgusting. Americans have better tinned tuna than the UK too.

Black pudding is fucking awesome.
