If not that, then beans on bread. It's the same thing.

People eat avocado on bread and that's an upscale breakfast that's worth abandoning all hopes of getting on the property ladder for.

Cheese on toast is also good. Just because bread sends your insulin through the roof doesn't mean us normals can't enjoy it.

You're deflecting. We both know the issue isn't the bread, it's the canned and unseasoned beans.

The fact that you don't understand the issue proves my point. You'd probably stroke out of you tried any proper cuisine.

Unseasoned? They come in a rich tomato sauce and as I said you add a very tangy brown sauce along with a good amount of white pepper.

What's "proper cuisine" to you? Anything buried in cayenne and paprika? You know the French don't use a lot of spices and their cuisine is generally seen as the best in the world?

Gross. Also the French are pretentious losers who should wash more often.

As an Italian, I am offended at you even mentioning tomatoes.

Italians also have a mostly herb-based cuisine.

You're definitely from some kind of thrid-world background though. They're the "douse everything in a walmart spice blend because that make it good" folks.

Spices are in effect herbs bud. Paprika for example is just ground red peppers. You're British, so of course you wouldn't know this. Herbs are the leafs of a specific plant, whereas spices are usually the fruit of that same plant, though sometimes it can be the bark as well.

Dominican cooking is heavy in garlic, onion, cilantro, and peppers. All very simple to anyone not British

Two different categories. You'd know that if you weren't retarded. Different flavour profiles and uses. Also spices tend to be "exotic" as in not native to Europe. Hence European cooking tending to center around herbs. It's what was available, the ability to get ingredients from across the globe for near no money is a very recent phenomenon.

I'd imagine Dominican food is some fusion of Spanish as they invented the place and whatever the African slaves they dragged over there ended up doing. Never had it, but can see it being similar to Cajun or other creole foods.

Why are you so upset the rest of the world doesn't have the same palate as you? We're just out here enjoying our beans on toast. And seemingly inventing everything the modern world relies on. Including the supply chains that mean you're not just eating jungle fowl coated in bat shit or whatever your ancestors used to burn in a hole in the ground.

My ancestors were Italian. It seems you're triggered. Maybe a nice jellied eel will soothe your butthurt?

Also, I literally defined the difference between Herbs and Spices, you're so triggered you didn't even catch that. Lol.

Jellied Eels are a London thing. Specifically a cockney thing, and those folks are essentially extinct.

I'm not upset in the slightest. Just chatting with someone who obviously doesn't have the slightest fucking clue what they're talking about but is doing their best to feel some sense of superiority over something.

Funny thing is, even you can name a few English dishes. Most of the world will even admit to enjoying Beef Wellington or Shepherd's Pie.

How many people can name a Dominican dish? I fucking can't. Nor can I be bothered to look one up.

Dominicans have a version of Sheppards pie. Every country does. It's potatoes with meat. It doesn't get more basic than that.

You say you're not upset, but the insults and curses betray the image you want to portray.

Lastly, no one has made memes about how bad Dominican food is. And Britbongs love Dominican food and culture. Last time I was at a Dominican resort, there were more Brits there than Americans and even Dominicans. It was surprising.

The "British Food is Bad" thing mainly comes from Americans who were over during the war and in the immediate post-war period. Of course it was bad then, we were an island during the biggest conflict in human history. You try making powdered egg and 2 oz of canned beef into something decent.

The other part is, people pick on what poor people with no cooking skills are eating. But again, you can do that anywhere. Do you see the shit people eat in trailer parks? The Philippines has an entire industry based around picking chicken scraps out of Jollibee dumpsters, washing it, and selling it in the slums.

Also "it's just meat and potatoes" is a stupid fucking statement. Coq Au Vin is just chicken in fucking wine. Biryani is just meat in rice. Pizza is just cheese, sauce, and bread. Most foods are basic thing + basic thing. It's all in the preparation method and supplementary ingredients you dunce.

Again, I can name a bunch of British chefs. We probably have more world renowned chefs per capita than anywhere else. Who do you have? This guy?

So I'm a veteran. American rations taste good. American DFAC food is great.

Trailer trash isn't bragging about how good their pig lips are. Britbongs do it all the time with trash food. I can post more examples if you want. Remember the Kebab and vegan Kofta? Lol.

Your comment on the meat and potatoes is incorrect. Cow au vin has a very special preparation, so does biriyani. Sheppards pie is literally mashed potatoes with ground meat. There's nothing special about it.

Cow au vin was the first dish my wife cooked for me when we started dating.

Gordon Ramsey isn't a British chef. Well he's British, but he studied French Cuisine. Because British Cuisine isn't a thing. Maybe you could say that it's becoming a thing now, but it certainly wasn't before.

That guys videos are great. His food is gross, but it's funny.

Nice to know American military rations are nice. Doesn't mean the shit on the British Home Front in the 40s wasn't god awful.

Kebabs aren't British. They're east Mediterranean, with every country round there having its own version. You can get them in the US too... They're also popular on the European mainland. So that's your first two points that are irrelevant.

Coq au vin (not sure what cow au vin is?) does take a while to make. Doesn't change the fact the main ingredients are chicken and wine. Just like good shepherd's pie takes a while to make, and some skill. Do you think you just lob mince and potatoes in a pot and that's it? Again, retarded take but you're just showing yourself up really.

Ramsay studied French cuisine but his main dish is British. He does his somewhat okay beef wellington everywhere. Also owns a chain of fish and chips based restaurants. Again, you're incorrect. But that's been the theme of this entire conversation.

But if you really want a chef focusing on traditional British food, here's the late Gary Rhodes.

Cow au vin, Swype autocorrect. And usually you don't use chicken for coq au vin. One would use rooster, which is where the coq in the name comes from. I'm sure you don't know the difference between rooster and chicken, so go ahead and tell me I'm wrong. Sheppards pie is without exaggeration just mashed potatoes and meat with peas and carrots in it. There's nothing to it. I'll clarify, there is no technique to it.

And kebabs are British. It's British street food. No one says kebab meaning anything other than the slop bribongs call a kebab.

The fact you're saying there's no technique to it tells me your mashed potato is utter dogshit and you can't cook mince to any degree either.

Kebabs are actually a bigger thing in Germany, because they had more tukish immigration than we did. There's a bunch of pizza shops all over Britain, is pizza British too?

Oh and coq does indeed mean rooster, and the recipe sprung up as a way to make rooster meat less shit to eat. But I guarantee you won't find a single restaurant in a first world country that doesn't use chicken (or capon, tastes the same). Which is both more pleasant to eat and more widely available. In fact, I've travelled pretty far and wide, including spending long periods in France. Don't think I've encountered a single place using rooster. Third world shit, same living standards as 18th century France. Obviously.

So again, are you done looking like a moron yet or do you want to keep going?

I literally just googled rooster meat and it's for sale all over the place. Though one could use creole chicken or guinea hen for the same effect. But since you haven't seen it, none of that must be a thing. Lol.

But you know what, you're probably right. I'm a moron, and the fact that British food is shit is just a big conspiracy.

As far as bread sauce goes, probably not as bad for you as this shit.

At least the UK has decent, not canned, cheese.

America has great cheese. Though the UK has some really good cheeses as well.

HAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHA no.

Some have alright flavors, texture is usually off. None of it is in the same ballpark as a European cheese.

It's between England and France for the best cheesemaking country in the world. Srs.

I try my best for the planer to avoid buying plastic and whatever all else, but for me, "we're all going to make it" really means "we're all going to get central AC;" when I get central AC, I'll know I've made it.
