Is there anything left for me in the US? Srs thread

- Went to university and grad school here in US so completed all education
- Own 2 properties - one of them in pure cash so I give the rental income to my mom that covers her living expenses and retired her
- My net worth has gotten above $1M - I made some financial mistakes so not as high as it could be but I’m working on increasing it
- Did a ton of dating in my 30s through the help of dating apps and have been with tons of girls so I’ve sowed all my wild oats and had enough fun
- I believe my current job might be my last one in the US and thinking of moving abroad when it ends
- I’m single so never achieved the wife+kids in suburbia type life so there’s nothing holding me down in the US

Is there anything left for me in the US?

There is plenty here.

You just have to throw all your empathy and values away and shit all over you fellow human.

Once you do that, you can have anything you want.

I feel like I did everything I could do except getting married/finding a good gf + kids so not sure what else. Im single, never married, and childless

Ideal situation for us Americans has become to work in US to gather the money then leave to cheaper country to enjoy the fruits of your labor

How does one enjoy the fruits of their labor?

You can just sit in presence and have unlimited peace anywhere. You don’t have to pay for it or be in a specific location.

It kind of seems, from my ignorant position, you may just be seeking distraction or the next bump of dopamine.

As someone’s itt said, do you know what you want or are you just chasing a feeling?

It’s hard to enjoy US because everything is expensive. I bought a burrito a few days ago and it costs $15, but its true worth is about $7 to me.

If out for nightlife, beer costs $10+ and mixed drinks are $15+. Also housing cost is very high and most of US is boring as fuk.

But more importantly, US is hard to travel from. There’s Canada which is basically US 2.0 so why would I care about visiting there. Then there’s Mexico. Rest of countries to visit are too far. I’d like to travel internationally and US geographic location is very limiting.

Then there’s the whole dating hurdle. So I think I’d be becoming a passportbro.

I feel you.

I am actually working with a company right now that helps American citizens with passive income emigrate to Portugal. They set up banks accounts and visa and everything. Some economic development program.

If I decide to do it, I’m gonna go hang out on the beach in Portugal as a home base and travel Europe and Asia.

Exactly

Just being on that side of the world opens up so many more traveling opportunities, easier to travel multiple countries at once, more excitement, more dating options, cheaper cost of living, and more

That’s why I don’t think there’s much left for me in the US. I have nothing holding me back as I’m unmarried, no kids, no friends, etc. I’ve been thinking my current hybrid job will be my last in the US and use this to build up my financial safety buffer then figure out the second half of my life outside the US.

In three years, I’ll meet you on that side of the world so we can mogg Europeans and steal their women for ourselves.

On the OG misc, there was a guy living in the Philippines after leaving the US. I forget his username.
