Did Carl Jung explain why people are now more isolated/lonely?

Jung said "if a man knows more than others he becomes lonely". Basically that when one understands human psychology on a deeper level the world around them loses mystery and becomes more like a performative stage.

With the internet allowing us almost infinitely more insight into human psychology -- is that basically where we are at now?

If happiness is the overall goal, perhaps you take the blue pill and don't look back?

I've read about the theories that people who are smart or intellectual or wise or whatever, as compared to all the NPC's, can be kind of jaded since they understand the real abusive, oppresive way the world actually works, but the ones who have money for land and toys and take a lot of time off seem to be decently happy.

maybe some of those with money also understand but the money allows them to just distract themselves with other things. person without money is left to just sulk in their thoughts more
