When I got it done professionally it was like 5 sessions every 8-10 weeks I think, then I took off for summer because you can't be tan when you get laser and did 2 or 3 more sessions that next fall.

They have devices you can buy now. I have a JOVS laser hair removal device. With the home devices you do it like a couple times a week for a month then do touch ups maybe once a month or so. Everyone is different so it just depends on that person and if the hair grows back.

It doesn't really work on light hair but if you have dark hair it usually works well. It also might depend on skin tone as well.

Yes, if you have dark hair it should work on men as well. Just make sure you are doing it on untanned skin. You can't be tan/use self tanner and use it.

As to your 2nd question, it's not really different than getting waxed there.
