celebrating that I'm an American tbh.

the viral-videos of europeans discovering how great the US is old news to me. I went to Europe years ago and was like WTF? other than the historycel aspects ...daily living is not good.

I don't know that much about Canada but just from the tweets I've read it seems not good either. Looks like Trump may not renew the US Can Mexico trade agreement either (lets hope)....the US is directly responsible for 85%+ of canadas GDP. makes sense as other than natural resources you don't have much to offer. I guess skiing sometimes but that aint manufacturing or large scale service sectoring.

btw: personally i think the US should take over Canada/greenland all the way to the artic circle and then slowly phase you into the US economy. only problem is MANY canucks would move to warm states driving prices sky higher.

went all over. "not good" is a strong statement. it wasn't that so much as everything in America is better...more variety, easier to get stuff, etc. I dunno. of course this is a bias but the US is just better to me.

europe kinda felt like an amusement park as a historycel tourist...its nice but gets tiresome. daily life in the suburbs in the US is very GOATed tbh. it seemed like most people struggled as well financially. recently found out if the UK was a state it would be the poorest in the US in terms of overall wealth. all 50 states are richer than the entire UK (or maybe it was just england...whatever).

I'm going out to my friends lake house at 10am, and we're going on an all day boat trip. Stopping at the restaurant at the other end of the chain of lakes, and drinking Long Island Ice Teas, and will almost certainly be a .2 BAC by the time the US Soccer game begins at 8pm.
