It's summer now, but it doesn't really feel like summer anymore.

Just the same old bullshit. work and thats it. idk when the magic wore off. Days blend into weeks, months, then years. Last summer I really had was after I graduated high school and longboarded around with my friends and sometimes we would smoke a bowl and drink. Not a care in the world.

For the past 3 decades, I sort of follow this pattern to where I work for a few years, and save a lot of money and build up my credit, then just quit and take time off and either veg out or travel until my savings and credit limits run out. Then I just bankrupt everything and start over.

I didn't really realize it at first, but then I sort of recognized it all, and, hindsight being 20/20, I'm glad I did instead of just slaving away perpetually.
