What are some places you went that felt surreal?
Here were mine
1) I went to Loreto, Mexico with a latina girl I was dating at that time. We stayed at a resort and went to the beach in the middle of the night. It was nearly pitch black and the sky had so many stars like an unbelievable amount that it felt scary and my existence felt so small. Something about seeing so many bright stars in the sky that I had never seen like that before and it was creepy. I did her doggystyle and got a BJ on the beach under those stars but it was a scary experience.
2) I went to Valley of Fire State Park in Nevada with another girl I was dating. We made it just before the closing time so we were the only ones at the park. With everything all red sandstone and we were the only ones at the park and not seeing any other person for miles, I felt like we were in Mars. Felt like being in a whole different planet so that was a cool feeling I had never felt before.
There are more but those two come to my mind so far

2) first time I saw Sydney Harbour Bridge and the opera house
3) Walking though Red Square as an adult, going to the bolshoi theatre as an adult
4) swimming in the ocean at night
5) driving over the Brooklyn bridge
6) seeing the Wu Tang Clan IRL for the first time
7) walking though Central Park while an episode of Law & Order SVU was being filmed, saw Jerry Orbach before he dieded, closest I’ve felt to thinking this is a simulation
Edit: 2am broad daylight white nights in Sanct Peterborg, some northern lights too

We flew into Kyrgyzstan late night/early morning. It was still dark so we couldn’t really see anything.
As we were unloading some equipment and doing some admin stuff, the sun began to come up.
We didn’t know it but we were in a valley surrounded by huge beautiful mountains on all sides. Once the sun started coming up and lighting them up, the scenery was absolutely captivating.
Out of a dream, or a movie.

Shakespear regional park walking through the ocean at night and seeing phosphorescence in the waves behind my foot steps.
Riverhead forest watching the milky way through a magnetic storm. The amount of shooting stars was insane, I did her doggystyle and got a BJ on the beach under those stars but it was a scary experience.

Arriving in Antarctica and the first month after. Don't like flying so have only been on a few planes, so flying was scary enough. Let alone waking up one morning in oregon at 7am to catch my flight at 11am to fly to the bottom of the earth where I know no one and have no idea what to expect, but knowing I'm stuck there for a while regardless was nerve racking enough. Seeing the ocean frozen from the small windows on the c130 made everything seem real. Stepping off the plane and seeing nothing but white and foreign white mountains and a volcano with smoke coming out of it was insane. Getting to town and learning where anything was and settling in didn't feel like real life for at least a month. In fact it still doesn't.

Artists point ant Yellowstone. I’ve never been to the Grand Canyon but this was probably close. It was just so vast and the air was clear, it was like it looked like almost 2D. I was with my gf at the time, there was a lot of people but we went back to the car where she jerked me off and fingered herself at the same time.
In a really isolated beach on the jungles of Costa Rica. I was with a local girl who showed me the spot at night. There were so many stars and you could see the depth of the Milky Way with your naked eye. I’ve never seen such a clear night sky before. We had just came from a shower and had a few drinks so we 69d on the beach and did a little night swim but I didn’t like being in the ocean at night. It creeped me out

The Red Rocks in Arizona were beautiful! We drove from Phoenix to Sedona and it was a very scenic drive. The drive from Sedona to the Grand Canyon was not scenic once we hit Nevada. So much brown everywhere, no green at all.
Glacier National Park is amazingly beautiful. We saw some breathtaking views while hiking there and driving the going to the sun road. When we were on our way in it was around 5pm and the way the sun was hitting everything was just gorgeous. Everywhere you looked in Glacier was like a beautiful photograph.
Alaska and the Yukon. The air in Alaska is so crisp and clear it's amazing. Stunning views everywhere when going from Skagway up into the Yukon.
