After watching it, that was stranger than I would have thought. A short kiss on the mouth is still not something that was done in my family with kids but I probably wouldn't think anything of it if I saw it. That was weird though.

I can see this is innocent but I can also see why it might seem a bit weird to people.

I think a quick peck on lips is fine when they are little, weird after they get older. Stick to the cheek when they start to get older imo.

But what I think was a bit weird here is the length. Again, I can see that it was a little kid that loves his mother and there is nothing untoward going on, I just think that except for isolated incidents like the video where the kid is clearly playing, the lip kiss should be a quick peck. Prolonged kisses like that on the lips all the time would be a bit weird imo.

I think it's weird and a little gross from a germs standpoint. My wife and I agreed no lip kisses when we had our daughter. Wasn't even a discussion, just seemed normal to skip that. Kisses on the cheek/head only.

I'm 100% sure I never kissed my son on the lips, I don't remember kissing my daughter on the lips, but if I did, it wasn't like that. I don't see anything wrong with a quick kiss on the lips if they are up to 3 years old, but that kid is mounting his mom and going in for long kisses.
