It's amazing how many lifters destroyed their joints focusing on heavy pressing. My dad is an old-school powerlifter and was just telling me yesterday how much he wishes he did less pressing and still had full use of his shoulder.

I’m currently convincing myself that I’m in a good position to start training bench, squat, and deadlift for powerlifting again.

It’s Week 1.

Let’s see if I can do it without hurting myself.

If I could total 405 squat, 315 bench, and 500 deadlift at 198 and 45+ years old, I’d be happy.

It’s a far cry from what I did 15 years ago… but I was a lot younger and MUCH bigger.
