i just realized the NEETs on this forum are the most interesting people srs
these guys get multiple threads about them take @johnvee73 i counted 3 active threads about him yesterday alone wtf thats not normal
everyone followed @donny2yucky weight loss journey and now his journey back to alcoholism seems popular too but i hope it goes back to weight loss again tbh
@ironmanlet is the philosopher of the forum u can tell he has thought a lot about life i always tag him when i need something explained he always brings a unique perspective
tbh it makes sense they live off grid they don't have to listen to anybody and they get a unique perspective on life plus they can focus all their energy on improving themselves everyone wants to be part of their story
i want to be like that i want to be a free man but i still got a mortgage and need my job someday though i'm gonna NEET too 100%

Something I learned shortly after I stopped working was that Buddha obtained enlightenment through abundance. Up until that point, I understood suffering was necessary to achieve enlightenment, but I had never been exposed to the idea that abundance was also a requirement. The Buddha was born into a wealthy family, and had the ability to sit and think without the nagging sensation to contribute or die.
I would add a little tidbit of wisdom here though.
Much of the scarcity we perceive is an illusion. We all have more abundance than what we can perceive. That is a fundamental aspect of human nature, and in modern society, it is exploited. We can “reprogram” our brains to perceive this abundance giving us the ability to gain conscious control of our central nervous systems, and achieve enlightenment, regardless of the circumstances we find ourselves in.
I have absolutely enjoyed the egotistical satisfaction a man can get from a job. I mean in significant ways, I have achieved things, I have performed, I have made marks and climbed ladders and I have experienced the satisfaction a man can get from doing that. The sense of purpose, belonging, acceptance, the ability to display and communicate proficiency and competence, being relied on, getting shit done….. it was addicting.
It was also all a lie. It feels good. I am grateful for the experiences. There was absolutely nothing real about it.

Because they have ample time to invest in their own personal interests, develop self improvement habits that boost serotonin, hone their individualism, and this freedom allows them to share with the community in an unrestricted way other miscers can’t.
If you’re a wagie or if you have a family, it’s difficult to keep up with the forum. NEETs aren’t metaphorically shackled like we are, nor are their personalities suppressed by corporate culture.
It’s easy to be interesting when you’re free.
I envy them.

People like personal drama and the potential for a redemption arc. Alternatively, the idea of having no commitments and responsibilities can be a good respite for a lot of people so they might be living vicariously through those guys.

This is one of those beauty is in the eye of the beholder kind of things.
I have no issues with those guys but wouldn't say they are particularly interesting to me. They do post though, so there's that.
Some of my favorites are:
Jandels - not on as much anymore, but we had some things in common and he has a bunch of interesting hobbies
Muzzlrpress - lifts, sings, used to post dad stuff. A regular renaissance man
Duckliver - Saw he posted the other day. Interesting perspectives, funny guy, posts some outdoor stuff that I like.
RICHSTRONG - we share some outdoor interests, seems like a good guy, good sense of humor
Hendrixfreak70 - because he belongs on every list

A few reasons.
When you work at a job all day and come home you don't want drama and bullshit, you just want to relax and make wise use of your time away from work.
From my experience NEETS would get bored and start fucking with other people, just being a general pain in the ass.
I don't think NEETS are more interesting, they just have a lot of time to waste.
If I was working a full time job I would probably stop making videos, almost completely stop playing PC games all together, and probably speak even less.
