Nah you gotta embrace that if you're serious about her. Don't have to eat it, couple bites maybe, but embrace that. We're in the age I'd be surprised if 50% of women can make toast. This shows she's been taught at least a little something and wants to put in the effort to make you happy and she's probably willing to learn your tastes and before you know it you're chowing down.

big facts

coach her and she will only get better. cooking is a skill just like anything else

the hard part is getting a woman to cook for you in the first place. i've always told women i talk to that a woman that cooks for her man is one of the most attractive qualities she can have. you don't have to be a professional chef but making consistent, edible, healthy meals for your man/kids is sexy

That's a pasta casserole with cheese on top and some veggies in the sauce. What's the problem?
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

ikr. Throw a fat chicken breast onto the plate with that and it would slap. If the chicken was shredded in there too would go hard. There are a lot more reasons to repeal the 14th than that casserole.

Pasta ,cheese and broccoli, kinda hard to f that up

Maybe the putz should learn how to cook and not rely on a woman to feed him while bitching about it

I personally need a woman to

Look good

Smell good

Fuck my balls off

I can feed myself and wash my own clothes

Thats not a partner

That's a slave

This^^

It almost looks like a chicken, broccoli, alfredo pasta type bake. Her bf probably lives on hot pockets or something...

Some people on here are miserable and just want to drag everyone else down to their level. If they had someone to make them that meal, they probably wouldn't be so cranky.

I'm quite picky both from a taste perspective and based on what sets off my stomach. I've been very upfront about this fact with both my mom and my gf and neither seems to have a problem with it. Any new meals I need to know the ingredients and cooking process beforehand. They all know I'll skip a meal before I eat something that I won't like or that will bother my stomach. I've never been rude to anyone about it, just matter of fact, polite, and apologetic when someone has made a genuine effort.

If it's something I may not like or that may set me off I prepare my own alternative just in case. I do a lot of my own cooking anyways and I cook meals for just myself, for myself and my parents, and for myself and gf.

Food is one of those things you don't want to force people into doing something they don't want to do. Couples need to have honest conversations about it and be upfront but without insulting. Just "I don't like such and such meal" or "this bothers me I can't eat it" while conveying that the effort is appreciated.

I don't know the dynamics of the relationship in that reddit thread, and you're only going to get one side from something like this. It's possible that she wants him to try new foods and he just doesn't want to, and I could relate to the man's perspective there. However it's also possible that he is dismissive and makes her feel unappreciated which is also a problem.
