I remember about a decade ago, a white couple got murdered and the woman raped. IIRC, the guy was drowned and both had their skulls caved in with a blunt tool like a spade. I've woken up not breathing a dozen times when I don't use a pillow so my airways are blocked up or tongue fell back. Suffocating/Drowning would be one of the worst ways to go. Those final moments of absolute panic and terror.

Yeah it's terrifying, I had horrible cat allergies a decade ago and would wake up in the middle of the night with my heart beating out of my chest gasping for air. My nose was clogged and all that bs.

People need to cope so that's why they say this shit and don't want to truly put themselves in their shoes because it's too terrifying for them to imagine

Nobody dies peacefully. It's either a long drawn out agonizing death or a short terrorizing sudden death but either way the body doesn't want to give in and it certainly doesn't want to die so it fights and the person pleads to god for mercy but the mercy never comes because every dog has its day and its now ur day so accept the inevitable in the moment because nothing can change that which has been set in stone.

Even the Bible confirms this. But most (90%+ ) Christians have been brainwashed by propaganda and popculture lies into believing death is Casper the ghost leaving the body and floating off to pearly gates. In reality the Bible states very clearly that death is the "king of terrors", the "last enemy", and "the dead know nothing at all" and "sleep in the dust of the earth" until the age to come.
